Our mission is to design and operate platforms and applications that: Prevent, detect, and mitigate compliance risks across the firm. Handle massive volumes of structured and unstructured data. Utilize the latest tools and frameworks to deliver advanced Big Data and intuitive UI/UX applications. We’re currently hiring for Big Data Software Engineering roles with a major focus on launching complex data pipelines and trading surveillance models in 2025.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will: Collaborate globally with stakeholders, engineers, and product teams to design end-to-end solutions. Work with technologies such as Java, Spark, Hadoop, Flink, MapReduce, HBase, Kafka, Presto, Kubernetes, and more. Develop innovative systems for: Data contract management Data quality monitoring High-volume data processing Trade surveillance models Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle: planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Learn from industry experts and contribute to mission-critical platforms.

Requirements

Required: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong programming skills in Java and hands-on experience with databases. Solid understanding of SDLC, testing practices, and system design. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal. Preferred (Bonus Skills): Experience with large-scale distributed systems (e.g., Hadoop, HBase, MapReduce). Familiarity with tools like Spark SQL, Zeppelin, Jupyter for data analysis. Understanding of RESTful APIs and service design. Exposure to compliance, risk, or finance-related applications. Ability to influence decisions and drive alignment across teams
