As a Backend Developer Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers to build scalable backend systems powering CloudSEK’s cybersecurity products. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world systems, modern backend technologies, and the cybersecurity domain.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend systems.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using Node.js or Go.
Work with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, data scientists, and product managers.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
Debug and resolve performance issues and software defects.
Stay updated with backend development and cybersecurity trends.
Assist in technical documentation and development best practices.
Requirements
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related fields.
Strong programming skills in Node.js or Go.
Understanding of backend frameworks, APIs, and web technologies.
Knowledge of databases, SQL, and database design principles.
Passion for cybersecurity and continuous learning.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Self-motivated and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have:
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD).
Understanding of NoSQL databases, caching, and distributed systems
