Key Responsibilities
Design and execute manual and automated test cases for Visa’s payment platforms
Develop automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, and Cucumber/Karate
Perform REST API testing and validate synchronous and asynchronous systems
Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to define test strategies
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and Agile delivery processes
Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
Validate database records using complex SQL queries and stored procedures
Contribute to CI/CD automation pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub

Requirements
2+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s degree) OR 5+ years overall experience
4+ years of Software Test Engineering experience preferred
Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Core Java, and Collection Framework
Experience with Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, JSON/XML parsers
Hands-on experience in REST API testing and automation frameworks
Strong SQL skills for database validation
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter/LoadRunner)
Understanding of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Exposure to payments domain or fintech systems is a plus
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude)
