Overview

Phoenix Tailings seeks a Development Engineer II to design, execute, and optimize lab-scale REE extraction and metallization processes that will advance pilot and commercial deployment.

Requirements

• Hands-on process development and lab experimentation • Hydrometallurgy and chemical extraction techniques • Solid-liquid separation and precipitation process expertise • Process engineering fundamentals (mass and energy balances) • Familiarity with analytical instruments (ICP-OES, XRD, SEM) • Experience with process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HSC) preferred • Strong technical writing and structured documentation • Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative R&D environment
