Overview

Lead the design, development and deployment of predictive and analytical models for LGC's R&D product portfolio, applying advanced statistical and machine-learning methods to large-scale genomics and experimental data.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and/or Java for scripting and model development • Experience with statistical analysis and visualization tools (R, matplotlib, etc.) • Strong background in supervised and unsupervised learning methods • Familiarity with Linux-based systems and shell scripting • Knowledge of statistical and data-mining techniques (GLM, mixed models, clustering, random forest, boosting, etc.) • Experience with text mining and network analysis • Understanding of software development principles and model deployment • Ability to analyze and optimize algorithms
