Lead the design and implementation of scalable AI platform capabilities at Samsara to power GenAI-driven workflows and integrations used across the sales funnel and beyond.

Requirements

• 6+ years building and operating large-scale backend or platform systems • Hands-on experience building GenAI-powered production systems and integrating LLMs • Experience designing GenAI workflows (prompt orchestration, tool execution, routing) • Strong backend programming proficiency (Python, Java, Go, or similar) • Expertise with GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI SDK) and model integration • Experience with distributed systems, async workflows, and service contracts • Familiarity with GenAI quality, safety, validation, monitoring, and fallback strategies • Strong product sense and ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
