Data/Infrastructure Advocate Engineer - US Remote

Represent Hugging Face to data engineers and researchers by advocating for Xet storage, Parquet workflows, and scalable dataset versioning while building tutorials, demos, and community initiatives.

Strong Python proficiency and experience with data libraries such as pandas, pyarrow, and huggingface/datasets., Practical knowledge of storage systems and formats: Parquet, Open Table Formats, S3, and Xet., Experience designing demos, benchmarks, and reproducible examples for developer audiences., Excellent written and verbal communication for technical content, talks, and community engagement., Familiarity with dataset versioning, deduplication strategies, and storage optimization techniques.
