Overview

A hands-on Mechanical Engineer is needed to drive mechanical design, prototyping, and supplier coordination for Tovala's consumer oven products in the Chicagoland/Champaign-Urbana areas.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years relevant mechanical engineering experience • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar engineering discipline • Proficiency in CAD and mechanical drawings • Experience with prototyping, testing, and product validation • Familiarity with injection molding, casting, and sheet metal fabrication (moderate competence in at least one) • Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA/DFM and FEA tools • Supplier/manufacturing coordination and cost-quality manufacturability focus • Cross-functional collaboration and hands-on problem solving
