Overview

Kraken seeks a Software Engineer II to design and build scalable, API-driven quoting systems and reusable frameworks for a fast-moving, remote-first energy technology company.

Requirements

• Strong Python development experience • Experience with Django, Django REST Framework and GraphQL • Designing and building scalable APIs and backend systems • Familiarity with async processing and Celery • Solid PostgreSQL experience and database modelling • AWS experience and familiarity with Terraform/HashiCorp toolchain • Performance tuning and identifying bottlenecks in production systems • Working knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring and observability tools
