Overview

Fuse seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and analysis of rugged electro-mechanical communications hardware for U.S. defense customers.

Requirements

• Expert SolidWorks modeling and MBD (Y14.41) including eDrawings • Thorough knowledge of GD&T (Y14.5) and engineering drawing practices (Y14.100) • Experience with SolidWorks PDM or equivalent configuration management • Advanced simulation skills (FEA, thermal analysis, CFD) • Design experience for MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, TEMPEST/EMI, and related military requirements • Sheet metal and machined part design, finishing methods (powder coat, anodize, Alodine, plating) • Familiarity with additive manufacturing and cable routing in enclosures • Strong written and verbal communication and team collaboration skills
