Overview

Octave is seeking a remote Senior Backend Engineer to own and scale Python-based services, integrations, and architecture that support a growing behavioral health platform.

Requirements

• Strong Python expertise and production experience with a major web framework (Django or FastAPI). • Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, and designing modern API-driven services. • Proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and query optimization. • Experience integrating and synchronizing data with third-party APIs and partners. • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and operating production services. • Experience with debugging, monitoring, observability, and performance tuning.
