Overview
Lightship is hiring a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design, prototyping, testing, and production of electromechanical and exterior subsystems—primarily the canopy lift system—for its all-electric trailers.
Requirements
• Advanced 3D CAD skills (CATIA v5/v6/3DX preferred)
• Kinematics and machine design experience
• Electromechanical system design and actuator integration
• Experience taking at least one product or assembly from concept to production
• Supplier-facing technical leadership and manufacturing process selection
• Prototyping, testing, and design validation experience
• Clear verbal and written communication
